Terms and Conditions

Krixi is operated by Chandu Suresh, an individual. Postal address: Bangalore 560037. Effective date: 2026-10-19.

• Krixi is not open to the public yet. It is being tried by a small group of farmers, hub staff and field experts in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
• Features may change, stop working for a while, or be removed while the pilot runs.
• Krixi is for adults (18 or older). We do not ask for your age, so by signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older. Please use your own mobile number.

• Ask Krixi uses AI models to understand your messages and photos, and Krixi’s own crop knowledge to suggest what the problem may be and what you can do. It can be wrong.
• During the family pilot, many answers are not yet checked by an expert. Answers built from crop knowledge an expert has not checked yet are marked “not yet checked by an expert”, and an answer an expert has checked says so. Take extra care with unchecked answers, and ask your hub or a local agriculture officer before acting on them.
• The decision about your crop, and what you spend on it, stays with you. Krixi does not promise any yield, income or result.
• Krixi gives crop help only. It does not give medical, veterinary, legal or financial advice. If someone feels unwell after using a farm chemical, get medical help at once.

• Always read and follow the label and leaflet: the dose, the crop it is approved for, protective clothing, and the waiting period before harvest.
• Keep chemicals away from children, animals, food and water sources.
• Krixi is built not to recommend pesticides that are banned in India. If you ever see one suggested, do not use it, and tell your hub.
• Where the label and Krixi differ, follow the label.

• An order in Krixi is a request to your hub. It is confirmed only when the hub accepts it. The hub may change or decline items, for example when something is out of stock.
• Products are sold by your hub, not by Krixi. Prices shown are the hub’s prices at the time; the price on the hub’s invoice applies.
• You pay at pickup or delivery, in cash or by UPI to the hub’s own UPI ID. Krixi does not take online payments and never asks for card or bank details.
• Show your handover code only when you receive your order. Questions about quality, returns or refunds go to your hub.

• Give true details. Keep your password, PIN and SMS codes to yourself; Krixi will never ask for them.
• When you sign up, set up or reset your password, or sign in after these terms have changed (or with no record of your agreement), you tick that you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. We record the time and the version you agreed to.
• Tell your hub straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• Do not misuse Krixi: no false orders, no attempts to break in or overload the service, no abusive messages, and no other person’s photos or details without their permission.
• We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms.

Your photos and messages remain yours. You allow Krixi to use them to answer you and to let your hub help you. Photos you choose to keep may also be used to improve Krixi’s answers. How we handle them is described in the Privacy Policy.

Krixi is provided during the pilot “as is”. As far as the law allows, Krixi is not responsible for crop losses, or for losses from acting on an answer without checking it, from products sold by a hub, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to that, the courts at Bangalore have jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits your right to complain to a consumer commission where you live or work, or to any other forum the law gives you. You may contact the grievance officer first so we can try to fix the problem quickly; this is optional and does not affect your legal rights.

We may update these terms as the pilot changes. We will change the effective date and, for important changes, tell you before they apply, in the app or through your hub.
